A Friend.

Here's some words that describe this wonderful girl: funny, laughter, smile, kind, thoughtful, optimistic, caring, herself, listening, joyful, singing, involved, daring, travel, Christlike, talented, smart, hard working, heartfelt, easygoing, and a friend. Megan has been battling cancer for many years. She is now in a coma and is not expected to live through the week. I met her in Ft. Collins when I lived there. I got to see her at Christmas time, and she was doing well then, but this month things took a different turn. I knew she was not doing well, but I did not know things were to this point till today. I know it is better if she goes home to be with Jesus, but it's hard to wrap my mind around the fact that she would no longer be here. She reminds me so much of Aunt Pam in her attitude about her situation. Truly one of the sweetest people I know. Pray for her and her family. God is good, even when it hurts, and we don't understand.

  1. I have to update this post as I was misinformed about Megan's condition. She is not in a coma as of yet, but she is going into hospice and she will no longer be able to do chemo because her liver is failing, but her tumors will continue to grow without the chemo, so I guess it's not to the point I thought it was, but she's definitely not doing well.
