Soccer Madness

It has been a long week. I am glad it is over. I thought Tues. would never come, but here we are on Fri. I played two soccer games tonight. I somehow always get sucked into playing another game. I enjoyed it, and I scored a goal! Something that hasn't happened in years. We first played a team that didn't speak English and then I played on a team that didn't speak English. I will have to say I prefer knowing what my teammates are saying. I also played goalie for the last 7 min. of the second game. I am not good in that position, especially when the ball is coming at you a 100 mile per hour, or so it seems. I also got clotheslined the second game. That was not fun. Luckily it wasn't at full speed. So the knees are a little turf burned and the neck a little sore, but I scored a goal. Also, my ankle is doing remarkable well after all that play. I think I got my exercise in for the week. Now for a more laid back weekend, at least I hope so.
