It's the end of an era! No more cookies by design! I turned in my key yesterday when my shift ended and then my work shirts today. I am officially done! I learned a lot of things there, but am glad to move on to something else. What? I don't know. All I know is that God has a plan and he will provide the next job whatever that might be. All I can hope is that I see the opportunities put before me and have the courage and the foresight to take it. I will be living with Cindy and Brad for a while, until I can find a job and a place to live. They are extremely generous to allow me to stay with them for free. I have always said that I have a awesome family, and here is another instance to prove it.
I have mixed emotions about leaving Fort Collins. I have been here for almost 4 years, I think, so I have made lots of friends and have many good memories. Overall, I know that this is the right decision to make. If I stay in the Denver area, then I will be able to come and visit occasionally, because I will miss everyone here. It's time to turn over a new stone, cross the bridge, or whatever you like to say. I am looking forward to whatever God has planned for me.
Super excited for all the new adventures you are going to have! Enjoy them all!
ReplyDeleteOne more adventure down, who knows how many to go. Every day is an adventure and blessing from God. Whatever is ahead, God has already gone there. Prayers continue.
ReplyDeleteI know how relieving it is to quit a job that feels like a millstone around your neck. Glad you are moving on to the next stage and hope you find something soon. Meanwhile, enjoy a few weeks of free time and family! I will see you soon!!! Can't wait!!!!!!!
