Fairtastic!

Wow!! What a fantastic weekend! Some of the cousins and some friends came and hung out for the fair. The weekend started out with a BBQ on Fri. YUM! Burgers, hot dogs, fruit, pumpkin cookies, ice-cream, and of coarse, Dr. Pepper. Then on Sat. a group of us went to run a 5k for Trish's Birthday. That was really fun. We saw lots of interesting people there. Then we went back to her place and met up with more of the group. We drove to get closer to the fair and then walked in. On to the amazing fair food! Why is it that food always taste so good at the fair? Maybe because it's so bad for you? I don't know. We got there around lunch. I had a corn dog and a Dr. Pepper to start off the day. Delicious. I had bites of many other things. Fried cookie dough, fried gold, fried Oreos, fried, fried fried, and a caramel apple. We also tried a whole bunch of free samples. Free is always awesome! We also got to got to the dog show, the bird show, the doberman show, the African acrobat show, and we looked at the art and crafts building and some of the animals. I also got to ride the farris wheel. FUN, FUN, FUN!!!!! That was the entire day - FUN! We also met up with some more people at the fair, so our group got pretty big and we kept getting separated. Kind of funny and kind of annoying. Oh well, still tons of fun. I am looking forward to next year already. :)
