I can hardly believe that this semester is over, but it is. I have to turn in my paintings Monday for my final. I have already taken my final for my other class, but have to go back this Thursday to sit around and talk about a paper we wrote earlier in the semester. I just do not understand that class. It was one of the most pointless classes and a huge waste of my time. Thankfully, I don't have to relive that class ever again. My painting class on the other hand was enjoyable, for the most part. I think I learned a lot about painting and was able to experiment and find out what I like and different techniques that previously had not come to mind. Also, working at DBU this semester had been interesting to say the least. I work with mostly student workers, and two other full time employees. It has been an adventure for sure.
Other than school and work I haven't had a lot of time to do much else. I've run a few 5k's with Trish, or Holls and Aaron. Those have not been too bad, but I'd rather be playing soccer, which this next semester I might be able to find a team to play on!
I have also been living with Holls, Aaron, and Maddy. They have been awesome, and Maddy is super fun to hang out with. You never know what she's going to do next. She is also super smart. It has been a blessing to be able to live with them and hang out and just have a blast!
Now I'm sure some of you are wondering if I'm dating anyone. Nope. And it doesn't look like that will be happening any time soon. Sorry to disappoint you, but that's the honest truth. So, Aaron if you want more people in the family to play games with then you might want to work on the other single people in our family. ;)
I will try to get some pics up soon of all my painting that I've done this semester, so you can see what I've spent lots of time on.
I will be taking two classes next semester, painting three and pinciples of management. The painting class will be good, but not so sure about the other one. I hope I get a good teacher, otherwise the semester will be another long one in that class.
That's pretty much been my uneventful life this semester. It's time to wake up, I'm through with this blog entry, you can start wishing for the time back that it took to read this. :)
Yay for semester being over! You definitely need to publish some pics of your paintings. Maybe you should send them to the EET as illustrations for your article on abstract art.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see all your paintings & you in a couple of weeks!
ReplyDeleteSecond vote for the EET!!!

Way to go! You have met one goal--getting thru the fall semester. I am proud of you! You have had some great and new experiences. God is watching over you and guiding. Open your heart to His leading. See you soon!!!!
ReplyDeleteYay!!! I know you're glad to be done with the semester!
ReplyDeleteAs for Aaron using his matchmaking skills on other single family members? Hey, just think - no need to pay money for e-harmony or something when you've got Aaron looking out for you. ;)
Ditto on what your mom says. :)
