21 and Legal

My roommates 21st birthday was yesterday. We had some friends over for breakfast. Then we just chilled for the afternoon. We went to Old Chicago for a birthday dinner. YUM! Her aunt, uncle, cousins, and friends joined us for the celebration. After we ate we went to a friends house to have cake and ice cream and we played apples to apples. After that she wanted to go and buy a drink in a bar since she is now legal to do so. It was pretty late so there were lots of drunk people around. I wonder if people know how stupid they look and what ridiculous things they do and say when they are drunk? I somehow don't think so. We went to a place called the Drunken Monkey. They have swings for seats at the bar. I unfortunately had to sit by a guy who had too much to drink. He thought we were friends. No. He kept bumping into my swing and asking me what I was going to have to drink. I told him I was going to drive my roommate home, so I wasn't going to get anything. I don't know what he thought about that, he was really out of it so I didn't get a reply. Like I cared. I would rather not try to hold a conversation with someone in that state. No intelligent conversation can take place. I don't know if I would want to talk to him sober either. Overall, my roommate had a great time, and I had fun too, despite the drunken primate. When we got home I gave her my birthday present. I had forgotten to bring it with me to the restaurant. Needless, to say I am very very very very tired. I took a nap this afternoon, but I am going to have to call it an early night.
