Valentine's week is finally over for me. Hallelujah!!! I didn't think that this week would ever end, but it finally did. I will be perfectly happy if I never see a heart shaped cookie again.
To wrap up this valentine's week I will relate a few things I've heard this week:
"Are these cookies fresh?"
"Do you have any cookies ready to go?"
"Do you deliver to Boulder?"
"Has my order been delivered yet?"
"Are these cookies fresh?"
"My girlfriend didn't go to work today. I need to have my order delivered somewhere else."
" I can't get what I want even if I place a special order?" (She wanted something right then.)
"Wow! It smells good in here."
"Do you decorate these yourself?"
"Are these cookies fresh?"
"I have a real dilemma on my hands. I ordered a cookie to be delivered today and I found out my husband is leaving work before 12 to go to a golf expo in Denver. It needs to get there before noon. 'It went out this morning it will get there in the next hour.' "How do you know that?" 'Because I helped load up the route that went out this morning.' "Are you sure?" 'Yes, I'm sure.' "Can you contact your driver to ask them if they know it needs to get there before noon?" 'No, I do not have radio contact with my driver, but I can assure you it will get there well before noon.' "Well, it just really needs to get there before noon." 'No worries it's probably already there.'
Well, you get the idea of how a typical day went. Hope all your valentine's day turns out better than mine.
That's one for the books.
celebrate that it's over! enjoy your sunday!

ReplyDeleteValentines week was one of the longest weeks of my life. I was so tired by the time Sat. rolled around I spelled valentines wrong on one of the cookies.
ReplyDeleteSo guess it is on to four leaf clovers now?
